It's been full throttle for Trimetals this season through a sponsorship involvement with a rider in the world's premier domestic motorcycle racing championship.
As the leading manufacturer of high security storage solutions for motorcycles, Trimetals stepped in this year to offer sponsorship funds to Bournemouth Kawasaki team racer, James Hillier, who rides his 195mph 1000cc Kawasaki in the British Superbike Championship.
Competing alongside some of the world's top riders, James has a taste for speed and precision timing which helped to secure him two podium finishes during the challenging 2011 season and claiming 7th place overall in the BSB Evo.
In an exciting finish, the overall BSB champion title was claimed by Tommy Hill of Swan Yamaha in a tense photo finish between him and title rival John Hopkins as the pair crossed the line for second place, with just 0.006 seconds between them. Just two points and the 0.006 seconds also separated Hopkins from becoming the first American to lift the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship title.
And now we're looking forward to the next season, which celebrates its 25th anniversary, and with a number of changes to the technical regulations to enhance the spectacle of the British Superbike Championship. The championship will be limited to 32 entries, 16 two bike teams. This is said to reward the teams that have raced BSB year in, year out. Teams within the current BSB are invited to enter their two bike teams initially, with those who wish to graduate to the BSB class having to buy an entry.
For those motorcycle owners who don't race, Trimetals has also arranged additional support through special purchase 10% discounts for all members of the British Motorcyclists Federation. And look out on our Protect a Bike site for special discounts and offers too.
